The Castle

Pittormie Castle, St Andrews, Scotland, home of The Eden Club, is the most luxurious private members club in Scotland and one of Europe’s most exclusive gated communities.

The Pittormie estate was given to Ludvig of Lennox by King James VI in 1596 as the home of the first Duke of Fife. Just over four hundred years later the Grade 1 listed castle and grounds were lovingly restored as a private club with a quality of decoration and style unmatched in Scotland.

Bedrooms

Within the Castle there are eight bedrooms, each uniquely designed and decorated with their own en-suite bathroom. Furnished to the highest specifications, each room is as relaxing as it is delightful.

Handmade king-size four-poster beds and a custom designed ottoman housing a large plasma screen are a feature of the master bedroom. Fine Scottish oil paintings, hand woven wallpapers, carpets and tastefully selected antique furniture combine to make them as beautiful as they are comfortable. Rooms also include a daily maid service, complimentary homemade cookies and Scotch whisky.

Bathrooms

Marble panelling with large hand-cut tiles line each of the spacious ensuite bathrooms. Nickel taps, 12" rose shower heads and all the accompanying accessories are crafted to make each bathroom feel special.
